True Love.
As teenagers we knew nothing of love and saw it just as a romantic imagination which was woven in the air with illusions and mirages. It was just an external projection, but actually love is a difficult as well as a deep word. Its core is formed by kindness, understanding and respect towards the individual.
Here its a little conversation between two young people.
Ajay and Vinay were watching the last World Cup over drinks and joints. They were particularly in a great mood as they got to catch up with each other and enjoy watching the sports they used to play when they were young. Ad commercials came as a break from the intensity of the match and they broke into a conversation.
Ajay said, “Doesn’t that model walk like Rini? Oh man! what a woman she is.”
Vinay: “Yes, she was only 21 and so sexy!”
Ajay: “How I wanted to woo her, but she fell for you. Lucky dog!”
Vinay: “But dude, she was terrific!”
Ajay: “Yes, 34-26-34!”
Vinay: “But why didn’t anyone of us want to marry her?”
Ajay stubbed his cigarette, stretched his leg, pulled his collar and said, “No, my friend, a wife should be different. That was not love. Love is something totally different.”
Vinay: “But we always felt that love is all about sexy figure, a good looking face that makes the temperature rise.”
Ajay: “Such women aren’t made for serious relationships. One needs a wife for life. And that commitment only comes from a woman who is homebound and dedicated to the family. We can’t handle women who are like fireflies. We can’t handle tension at home. Home should be a place where you can relax. Only a family woman can offer you all that.”
According to me that’s love: Emotional comfort or True Love
